These terms apply to every dress booked through Zay Rents. The amounts on this page are read from the same settings the checkout charges from, so what you see here is what you pay.
You pay the full rental price when you book. We do not take a security deposit.
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly — Zay Rents never sees or stores them.
If you booked with us on WhatsApp or Instagram instead, we send you a secure payment link for the same amount.
Your dates are held once the payment goes through, and you receive a booking code to follow the order with.
Your rental window runs from the day before your event to the day after it.
A courier company brings the dress the day before and collects it the day after. They contact you to agree a time.
Delivery and collection are included in the rental price. We currently deliver in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
You can follow your order at any time — enter your booking code and mobile number on the tracking page.
Not sure about the fit? We bring the dress to your home to try for AED 100.
A try-on lasts three hours — the dress is delivered to you and collected the same day. You pick morning, afternoon or evening when you book.
If you then rent that same dress, AED 100 comes off your rental in full. Book with the same mobile number and enter your try-on booking code at checkout.
A try-on reserves the dress in the calendar for that day, exactly like a rental does.
Cancel within 24 hours of booking and you are refunded in full.
After that window the booking is not refundable — the dress has been taken off the calendar for your dates and turned down for other customers.
To cancel, ask us through the site or send us your booking code on WhatsApp. We confirm every cancellation back to you.
Need an extra day? Request an extension from your tracking page and we confirm it with you before anything is charged.
Extra days are charged at 20% of the rental price per day, with a minimum of AED 100 a day.
If the dress is not ready for collection on the agreed day, a late fee applies for every extra day: 10% of the rental price per day, with a minimum of AED 100 a day.
If the collection needs to move, tell us as early as you can — we would always rather rearrange than charge you.
Professional cleaning after every rental is included, so the ordinary marks of one evening are not charged for.
Damage beyond that is assessed once the dress is back with us and invoiced separately, against the retail value of the dress.
When your dress goes out for delivery we place a temporary hold on your card for the value of the rental. A hold is not a charge — the money is reserved, not taken. It is released once the dress is back and checked, and we only take from it if there is damage or a late return.
We ask for your measurements at checkout so we can prepare the closest fit before the dress leaves us.
If a piece needs a minor alteration we arrange it before delivery and reverse it after the dress comes back. Please do not alter, cut or pin a dress yourself.
Please do not clean the dress yourself — professional cleaning is part of what you have already paid for.
